Residential
Residential care for adults with developmental disabilities is provided in small group homes and apartments. Supervision and supports are provided in a homelike atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on individualized learning opportunities and supporting activities to improve each person’s independence and quality of life.
Day Habilitation
Day habilitation programs generate new interests, develop individual skills, and promote community awareness. Participants engage in fulfilling activities such as cooking, nutrition, and exercise to enhance independent living skills. Day habilitation programs are offered in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, and Pickens counties.
Supported Employment
Supported employment matches people with appropriate jobs based on the expressed interest and abilities of the individual. A job coach provides on-the-job training and supports as long as needed.
